Tighten to the grid with four dials: • Amount — how far notes move toward the grid • Leeway — a window around each grid line that's left untouched • Knee — how gently the correction ramps in • Bias — pull early and late notes by different amounts Then shape the groove: • Swing — slide the off-beats late, from a subtle shuffle to a hard swing • Groove templates — Ableton's library plus your own pool • Offset — push the whole pocket ahead of the beat, or lay it back • Automatic grid, feel, and swing detection on every clip you focus Plus straight/triplet/both-grid feels, a manual grid picker with per-clip memory, an always-on live preview so you hear it before you commit, per-lane control for drums, and commit to session or arrangement clips.
